- EDLC (ESD-SCAP)
- EDLC, known as electric double layer capacitor,
is an electrochemical capacitor in which an electric charge is stored
performing adsorption and desorption of the ion in electrolyte at the
electrode/electrolyte interface.
It has the following features: (1) low internal resistance, (2) high power density, (3) high reliability, and (4) wide operating temperature range(-40 ~ +60℃). Its energy density is typically hundreds of times greater than electrolytic capacitor and it also has a much higher power density than Li-ion battery.
Samwha manufactures from 100 to 3000F in capacitance with operating voltage of 2.7V. Furthermore, Samwha develops and provides EDLC module to offer attuned solutions for the use of EDLC through direct collaboration with client.
